How to Play Guitar Learn the Easy Way!

How to Play Guitar Learn the Easy Way! How hard is it to learn to play the guitar? ChaptersThe day I discovered tablaturesHow can you start learning to play without knowing solfeggio?Guitar tricks to learn guitar easilyPractice your instrumentThe minimum requirement for the guitar is motivationAt first sight, of all the instruments that we have today the guitar seems to be one of the most accessible to pick up and learn. It is ubiquitous, and its popularity with teens is no surprise given how fast they can pick it up and strum their first chords.Of course, it is only half-true to call the guitar a very easy musical instrument: even if it is relatively simple compared to other instruments like violin, piano, drums or a wind instrument, you still need to know the basics  to be able to learn the guitar.Another technique to learn guitar easily is to use the internet; today it is easy to learn guitar as you can find videos to watch videos many times over, or pause them to study particular hand movements or finger placement.Learn to play an acoustic guitar or an electric guitar quickly. It really is an indispensable learning tool which will help you gain experience fairly quickly.Overall, though the guitar can be an easy instrument to learn, you must find the right method to learn it.This “right method” is personal to you, and though not everyone has the chance to learn with a private teacher, there is a vast range of options when it comes to learning this instrument.Always weigh the pros and cons for each method, check the quality of the guitar lessons and methods, and pay attention to the rates charged.Advice to make learning guitar easierThis advice is not “one-size-fits-all” as each individual has their own resources and their own way of reacting to problems, but nevertheless, as with any instrument, learning guitar comes with certain universal foundations. When you know how to apply them, learning the guitar will actually be fun.Practice your instrumentSurely one of the most important tips to follow: everything you will learn to guitar, w hether in theory or practice, requires regular training. You need to repeat the same movements over again to successfully play a sequence, a string of chords or a perfect solo. You must be able to play instinctively, almost automatically, so that your brain and hands do not struggle to work in harmony.Everything must become fluid and natural. By working between 15 and 30 minutes per day you will ensure optimum conditions to learn the guitar.Enjoy yourselfEven if the work is important, never forget that playing guitar is fun.  Work is necessary to learn the techniques, but it is important that you enjoy yourself playing your guitar, composing, deciphering or even improvising pieces.Take private lessonsAlthough not everyone has the time, the means, or the desire to take guitar lessons, whether in a music school or a teacher, if you have the opportunity, you should do it.You will learn a lot about the instrument, and its practice but also about yourself. The teacher will be like a guide, will answer your questions, and will help you avoid bad habits. This invaluable contribution to learning guitar will save your energy and time.Don’t forget the theoryNot everyone will like this advice, but it cannot be ignored.Musical theory is an integral part of learning an instrument and the guitar is not exempt from this. Many beginners neglect this aspect and it is a mistake: learning the basics of theory will help you to compose, improvise or simply better understand what you are playing.Having studied the theory a new guitarist can start to think about how to choose their first guitar.Train your musical earLearn to listen to music, learn how to break it down, find each instrument in a piece, discover what bass lines are, what rhythms are most common, the strokes, and so on.Little by little, you will develop other skills and you will correct your own mistakes.Play with other musiciansMusic is made to be shared, and there is no better way to appreciate it than by playing with others. Do not think you cannot give it a go because you are a beginner, quite the opposite; everyone starts somewhere.Slash Band : Guitarists are stronger togethers !By joining a band, by tapping along with other musicians, you will learn from observing and listening to them, being able to ask questions, and receive advice, useful tips and tricks. The minimum requirement for the guitar is motivationThe guitar can be an easy instrument but you have to be motivated and have the right method, these are the 2 basic ingredients that you need to progress from novice to enlightened guitarist. If you are passionate, if you always want to know more about the practice and the guitar and about the different techniques available (picking, tapping, etc.), then you will progress serenely. You will also learn how to play the guitar faster.Motivation is the key to success : I give my guitarist word !The guitar must remain a pleasure, a joy to share; the more you learn, the greater your desire to lea rn will grow and the guitar will seem easier and easier.Work on your concentration, always remain motivated, persevere and learning this instrument will come easily to you.You will not longer have to ask how to learn the guitar.  Discover the big advantages of taking guitar lessons.

Love The Career Hate The Job - Introvert Whisperer

Introvert Whisperer / Love The Career Hate The Job - Introvert Whisperer Love The Career? Hate The Job? There are times when we are well immersed in our careers, convinced we love the work we do, and yet we’re unhappy with our job. It’s not a comfortable feeling to have. We’re left wondering if we made a bad decision about the career, because we can’t sort out our feelings about the situation. Sometimes we think the whole thing is wrong for us and other times, we think it’s simply our employer or business that’s the problem. We’re reluctant to leave our careers, because we might be sacrificing something great simply because we can’t clarify the issue. This happens with many of us. It’s a problem to be solved and sometimes, it might require a keen ear and unbiased point of view to help. Nevertheless, there is some work you can do that will help you solve your dilemma. Here are some questions to consider: Will the issue you have go away in another setting? You may have multiple issues to consider, but you have to look at whether transferring to another department, business or industry will make the problems go away. Sometimes, the issues you have are inherent to the career and you can’t get away from them. When I worked in education, I felt very de-motivated when I looked at some of my peers. I worked long hours and did what it took to help my students excel. I saw teachers who used the same, out of date, boring lesson plans year after year and left the building 5 minutes after the kids did. Those teachers got the same amount of pay increase I did. This situation was not going to change, no matter what school district I went to. It was simply how the system worked; but I needed to be rewarded for my results. This was an insurmountable issue for me. I had to able to work with people who shared my work ethic. If you dislike conflict, you might not want to be a lawyer. If you don’t like long hours, you might not want to stay in sales; and if you don’t like repetition you might not want to do production work. There are some careers that have features that simply are part of landscape. Is it a proportion issue? All careers have components to them that are going to be less desirable than others. You may have run into a great career, but there is some item that you must do that drives you crazy. You may discover that the item may shrink over time or in other settings. I purposely avoided finance careers, because I didn’t want to do a job that worked too much with numbers and math. I discovered that if working with numbers lead me to an analysis and decision, or managing a budget, it was ok. Neither item was so encompassing that it created a problem. If the proportion grew bigger, it would have been. Are there too many issues to sort out and problem solve? You know the saying about when you’re draining the swamp, it’s hard to remember why you’re there, when you’re surrounded by alligators. Sometimes, the dynamics of your work situation is such that you can’t see the real issues. You might have conflict with co-workers, a ditzy boss and long working hours. A big pile-on of stress makes sorting out these questions so unclear that you can’t problem solve your career question until you do something to actively improve your environment. You can do more than you might think in your work situation to change some of the things that are causing you discord. Again, do some research, read books or counsel with someone to help you with some actions to help change the environment. It doesn’t always take a directive from the boss to make a difference. What do you do if you discover it’s a career problem? Don’t despair! If you’ve spent some time sorting through this issue, you probably discovered the parts of your career that you do love. Do your homework and figure out other jobs where that part exists in alliance with new elements to form a completely different career. It’s called transferrable skills; and there are usually numerous jobs that capitalize on or expand on the things you like best. Understand, like everything else, you are never going to love or hate all the parts of your career. I think what you are looking for is to like most of your career and job, most of the time. Do you know what your next career step is?   Many people don’t. GMAT Question Types

GMAT Question Types One essay and 90 questions. Thats a lot to pack into three hours and 30 minutes of a GMAT exam. In addition to the Analytical Writing Assessment, there are a variety of question types on the GMAT. The basic categories to prepare for are the Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative, and Verbal sections of the GMAT. Lets take a closer look at each of the question types found in those sections and consider ways to approach them. Integrated Reasoning Reasoning skills are crucial to success on the GMAT. Like the essay, the Integrated Reasoning section is scored separately and does not count toward your total score. You have 30 minutes to answer the 12 multi-part questions, which cover the following areas: Multi-Source Reasoning, Graphics Interpretation, Two-Part Analysis, and Table Analysis. You must answer all parts of the questions correctly on the page to get any credit, as there is no partial credit. In this section, as in all sections, pace yourself. Dont necessarily spend time on all 12 questions. Read the material in front of you, make an analysis, select the best answer, and move on. If youre completely stumped, take your best guess, and use your energy on another question that you have a better chance of getting right. Problem-Solving In the Quantitative section, the general math areas covered are Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, and Word Problems. In this section, you have two basic types of questions: Problem Solving and Data Sufficiency. A Problem Solving question is a multiple choice math problem with five answer choices. To find the correct answer, first, read the question. Then, as you go through the solution process, use the answer choices to guide you in the right direction. Dont try to solve all of the math in your head. Do your calculations on the sheet provided and remember, the answer is on the page you just have to find it. Data Sufficiency Questions involving Data Sufficiency cover the same mathematical areas as Problem Solving, but in a different way. Every Data Sufficiency question includes two true statements, along with the following answer choices: (A) Statement (1) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (2) alone is not sufficient. (B) Statement (2) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (1) alone is not sufficient. (C) BOTH statements TOGETHER are sufficient, but NEITHER statement ALONE is sufficient. (D) EACH statement ALONE is sufficient. (E) Statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are NOT sufficient. Again, read the question, then read one statement at a time. Examine each scenario individually and carefully determine which of them fully applies, given all factors involved. Reading Comprehension These questions are based on passages about topics like social science, humanities, biology, and business. Read the passage first, and take brief notes about the main ideas. Then, before looking at the answer choices, answer the question in front of you in your own words. On your sheet, have a row of A B C D E letters written down to cross off. Be aware of your time, and dont get stuck on any one question. Use the passage to help you eliminate incorrect answer choices, and finally, select the best answer. Critical Reasoning These questions resemble Reading Comprehension questions, but theyre shorter and they focus on specific situations. Approach Critical Reasoning questions similarly to those found in Reading Comprehension. Read the paragraph, determine the argument, read the question, eliminate answer choices that do not answer the questions, and select the best answer choice. It sounds easier said than done, but practicing these methods while you study will make a real difference on the actual exam. Sentence Correction For non-native English speakers and people who arent grammar enthusiasts, Sentence Correction questions can be the most frustrating part of the exam. You are presented with one sentence served five ways, and you must determine which version is the best answer choice. A methodical approach is best. Ask yourself, Do I like this sentence as is? If you like it, keep it. If you dont, then cross out the A on your sheet, and move to the second answer choice. Continue crossing out answer choices until you find the best, grammatically correct sentence. For this GMAT question type, it is important to look for what is wrong with each answer choice rather than what is right. All of the incorrect sentences in a question will sound similar, but they will also have at least one thing wrong. As you study for the GMAT, pay attention to the question types that you perform better on and those that you need more help with. Its common for some students to be stronger at Reading Comprehension than Data Sufficiency, or Problem Solving than Sentence Correction, or even Algebra questions over Arithmetic questions. Use this knowledge to maintain your strengths and shore up your weaknesses, perhaps with the help of online tutoring as well. Allot your time accordingly to the different GMAT question types so that you can perform your best on the exam and reach your target GMAT score. Good luck!

20 Insider Tips For Traveling to France [Infographic]

20 Insider Tips For Traveling to France [Infographic] 20 Game-Changing Tips for Traveling to France Jessica Dais From the smell of freshly baked baguettes from the local bakery, to views of the romantic châteaux (castles) in the Loire Valley, to the diverse array of masterpieces displayed in the museums of Paris France has so much to offer! If you’re taking a trip to this beautiful country soon, keep reading to learn how to plan the perfect itinerary so you can enjoy France at its best. We’ll share about the weather, what to order when dining out, a few little known sites, and many more helpful tips for traveling to France! 20 Game-Changing Tips for Traveling to France 1. Keep French Fashion in Mind Pack clothes that are versatile and chic, keeping in mind that the French are simple and effortless when it comes to their style. The saying “less is more” works well for the French.     One of your goals should be to blend in with the locals not stand out as a tourist. For the ladies, bring a scarf! In the summertime, light scarves can add a touch of class, or be used as an extra layer at nighttime without the bulk of a jacket. 2. Pack Comfy Shoes Bring a pair, or two, of comfortable shoes to France. When traveling, you should always expect to be walking quite a bit, whether it’s through the cobbled streets of Le Vieux Carré (the Old Quarter) or through the vineyards in the South. So leave the stiletto heels at home and opt for a pair of comfortable sandals or sturdy boots. Your feet will thank you later! 3.  Learn the Language Locals love when visitors attempt to speak the native language. Even if your French is a little rusty and you can only muster up a polite “Je voudrais un café, s’il vous plait” (“I would like a coffee please”), the French will greatly appreciate the effort. The best way to learn French before your trip is with the help of an experienced tutor. If you’re interested in building up your vocabulary quickly, consider taking private lessons or online French classes. You can also watch French tutorials on YouTube, such as the one below.   4. Check the Weather Regions along the three coasts of France have a more temperate climate, unlike areas in central France, where you’ll experience more variation between seasons. Paris can also become fairly hot in the summer, so be prepared by packing light-colored clothing made of loose material. The summer months in the south along the Mediterranean have very little rainfall, but the rest of the country experiences rainy months throughout the year. Paris has quite a bit of rainfall from April through August. Whatever the season, its always a good idea to check the forecast prior to your visit to France! 5. Travel in Spring or Fall If you’re on a budget, the most cost-effective times to travel to France are during the spring and fall months. Keep in mind that if plane tickets are purchased at least three months in advance, you will be able to find some better deals! 6. Try a Bed Breakfast Relax in the many charming bed and breakfasts that France has to offer! While there are many options for lodging available to visitors, the more intimate bed and breakfasts in France are superb. Many of them offer home-cooked meals of the region, and the locals’ take on must-see sites. 7. Eat Like a Local The French are known for, and proud, of their cuisine. Wherever you are in the country, be sure to try the local delicacies. If you’re traveling to Bordeaux, try the cannelé a small pastry made of vanilla and rum. Take in the view of the Mediterranean while dining on a traditional seafood dish of the region. You won’t regret trying the bouillabaisse (seafood stew) in Marseille, or the delicious quenelle in Lyon! SEE ALSO: 50 Useful French Phrases for Travelers 8. Enjoy an Apéritif or Digestif In France, sometimes the best drinks come just before or after a delicious meal. An apéritif (pre-meal drink) is usually enjoyed among friends before a plat de fromage (cheese plate) is served. One common apéritif is the kir, which is a mix of white wine and blackcurrant. A common digestif (post-meal drink) is an espresso. Or you can try the “eau de vie,” literally translated “water of life,” which is a popular fruit brandy. 9. Check the Prix Fixe Menu When youre unsure about what to order, the prix fixe (fixed price) menu will be your best friend. Selected by the chef, it includes several dishes from the entrée (appetizer) to the plat principal (main dish) to the dessert.   10. Shop at Outdoor Markets   One way to save money without sacrificing the French experience is to shop at the outdoor markets. Most towns have an outdoor market or “marché en plein air.” Here, you can find vendors selling the region’s best at a more affordable price. Just be sure to check the local schedule, as some markets are only open on specific days of the week. 11. Enjoy Local Wines As with the food in France, it’s usually best to go with the regional wine. While there are many options for wine, opting for the local wine is the best choice if you want to fully experience and appreciate the specialties of the area. 12. Travel by Train Another way to save money on travel expenses while visiting France is to take the train. For the best deals, book three months in advance if you already have an itinerary set. If you’re under 25 and visiting France for a study abroad program or internship, signing up for a “Carte Jeune” offers reduced train fares! 13. Follow the Tour de France Are you a fan of cycling? If not, would you like to follow a route that takes you through some of the most beautiful parts of France? Follow the cyclists at the Tour de France! This annual event takes place in July with a route through several notable cities and sites. 14. Celebrate La Fête Nationale Also known as Bastille Day, the French independence day is well-celebrated in this country. If you’ll be in France on July 14th, you’ll get to witness fireworks shows and join in on the festivities. In Paris, go to a ball after the fireworks at the Eiffel Tower! The music and dancing begins around 9 PM. SEE ALSO: What to Pack for France [Infographic] 15. Check out the Museums The Louvre is one of the most popular museums in France, but there are so many other inspiring sites to add to your travel list! In Paris alone, there is the lesser-known Musée d’Orsay that boasts of numerous Impressionist paintings by Monet, and the Centre Pompidou that features contemporary and more interactive art. Both have slightly shorter admission lines! 16. Visit Luberon Don’t forget to bring your camera to the picturesque lavender fields in France. The lavender that blooms in the South of France is a scent that is truly unforgettable. In Luberon these fragrant flowers bloom anytime between late June to early August, with the peak of the season being in early July. 17. Learn About History in Normandy If you’re interested in historical events, head north for Normandy. Along the coast you’ll find the infamous Normandy and Omaha beaches where you can see remnants of WWII bunkers and memorials to those who fought during the war. 18. Stop by the Castles France is home to many beautiful and unique châteaux (castles) in the center of the country. Relive the grandeur of the châteaux in the Loire Valley. Villandry is famous for its gardens that are exact replicas of the medieval gardens, while Chambord includes a grand central staircase in the main entrance.
